Resum

The expression ¡pone, fur! is often used in Latin graffiti made post cocturam on pottery. It is usually associated with indications of ownership of the objects and, consequently, appears occasionally related to personal names in genitive. The expression is a warning to a possible thief to refrain from stealing the object. The number of testimonies in Hispania is still not abundant, although in recent years new attestations have been recognized.
