Algunos datos paleoecológicos y tafonómicos de un yacimiento pliocénico del Ampurdán

Abstract

The fossiliferous beds of the "Cementerio de Ciurana (Gerona) ", have been studied from Taphonomy and Paleoecology viewpoints. The mode of formation of the fossil assemblages hardly implicates transport and the vertical successiori seems to represent a regressive sequence from former normal marine conditions.
