Abstract

The Mid.-Late Triassic («post-Buntsandsteim) deposits from the allochthonous units of central Spanish Pyrenees (South-Pyrenean and Pedraforca nappes) consist of five successive depositional sequences (DS). Three of them present important carbonate Transgressive System tracts including distinct benthonic Foraminifera assemblages. So we characterize: the DS 237 (late Anisian-early Ladinian=lower «Muschelkalk») by Meandrospira gr. pusilla-dinarica; the DS 232 (late Ladinian-early Carnian=upper «Muschelkalk») by Triadodiscus eomesozoicus, Aulotortus praegaschei and Lamelliconus procerus; The DS 215 (Rhaetian proparte) by Aulotortus friedli, Agathammina? inconstans, Gandinella apenninica and Glomospirella sp. aff. rosetta.
