Abstract

Feminist demands have set the political agenda in all those countries where they have been carried out. This article shows the path that the Chilean feminist movement has taken to ensure that the current constitutional process is one of parity and that their participation results in a political constitution that enshrines human rights that are the sole responsibility of women. It describes the process of feministization that social movements in Chile are going through by incorporating feminism as a constitutive element and not as extra demands. It is concluded that, by pressing through mobilization, the Chilean feminist movement will achieve its goal of giving body to a feminist constitution.
