Estudio tafonómico del yacimiento de Ventalló (Gerona)

Abstract

In the present work taphonomics aspects are studied, be it biostratinomics as well as fossil-diagenetics, af the Pliccene layer of Ventalló (Gerona, Spain). We came to the conclusion that a difference preservation exists between Foraminiferad and I'ectinidae versus the Moluscs in general due to the microcietruotural differences. The Taphocenosis gat formed in a sedimentary environement next to the caast and weakly oxidarit.
