Abstract

The understanding of landscape as a natural, historical and cultural reality leads to the representation of forest landscapes in Andalusia, from a three-fold view: the actual tree groups whose features are related to climatic, geomorphological and biogeographical realities. Further, their development from primeval woods to forest landscapes. And finally, the addition of emotive features which enhance the objective realities to the full landscape concept through metaphors, literary and pictoric cultural representations.
