Abstract

Several sources has been taken into account to analyze a polycentric proposal in Castilla-La Mancha (Spanish regional administration) within the terms of European Spatial Strategy (ESS) and the Functional Urban Areas (FUA): current spatial development experiences, linked population flows provided by INE (National Statistics Agency, 2001), recent population growth (2001-08), besides an analysis of the forthcoming changes in transport network, whether motorway or toll roads. This proposal is being devised while a Land Planning Project called Castilla-La Mancha Spatial Strategy is also being carried out by the regional Government
