L’Ametlla, 1966: Design and Disappointment of a Leading Organization of Catalan Culture
Keywords:

Among the many initiatives undertaken to reactivate Catalan culture in the sixties, one of the least known was the First Conference of Study on Current Problems of Catalan Culture. It was held in January 1966 at the home of Felix Millet and a range of people took part, from the entrepreneurs who had founded Omnium to leftist intellectuals and figures like Jordi Pujol and Josep Benet. Thanks to the archive of the latter, it has been possible to reconstruct the content of the meeting and the failed projects that arose from it.Downloads
