Feminism and pacifism in the First World War. Barcelona, 1916: in a Catalonia divided between francophiles and germanophiles which confront each other daily in the press, Carme Karr, editor of the Feminal, signatory of the Manifest dels Amics de la Unitat Moral d'Europa (the Manifesto of Friends for the Moral Union of Europe) and president of the Female and Pacifist Comittee of Catalonia, is attacked by a contributor of her magazine, the francophile writer Miquel Poal i Aregall.Downloads
