Ocultaciones, o la cara oculta del mundo

Abstract

This work presents some reflections motivated by the talk I had with Pere Salabert and Eva Gregori due to my contribution to the exhibition Palabra oscura (obscure word) (Council Museum, Reus, November-December, 2002). The action consisted of breaking a stone in two, removing the central letter «a» from the word «palabra» out of the title written on the wall and ended up putting the letter between the halves of the stone, which were stuck together again with the «a» in the middle. At same time I recover here some fragments of old texts that put a conceptual light on my «occultation», explaining my commitment and alliance with nature, the necessary procedures to form the gaze and finally my way of creating thoughts.
