El yacimiento de vertebrados del Pleistoceno inferior de Crespia (Girona, NE de la Península Ibérica)

Abstract

The Vertebrate bed of the lacustrine deposits which affect the Incarcal formation in the nearby of Crespii is studied. An approximate list on the fauna there found is provided and the Pachycrocuta brevirostris (Aymard) materials found in this zone are described and commented on. This vertebrate bed is an important link for the. knowledge of the Lower Pleistocenc together with the information given in the studica of Villalta and Vicente (1972) and Roiron (1983) on the macroflora lying underncath; 'this bed represeiits oiic of the moit coniplete sequences in northeastern Spain.
