Resum

Continuing training has been proposed as one of the most important organizational resources to reduce the negative impact of the workload on workers. The main objective of this study is to test the effect of continuous training and the psychosocial health levels in workers who look after people
with disabilities in residences. 100 participants that received psychosocial prevention risks training courses were recruited in this study. Participants filled up questionnaires referred to psychobiological health, psychosocial risk factors, as job strain and burnout, and a self-efficacy measure. Results show that there were no differences depending on the training program. Results are discussed suggesting the need to improve the design of continuous training programs in order to reduce stress and burnout.
