A social group at risk of double exclusion: middle-aged women who practise or have practised prostitution
Abstract
In our research we examine the life stories of middle-aged women who have been or still are prostitutes, starting with their self-assessment of achievements or failures, and going on to explore the internal and external means available to them to deal with the risks of their lives as prostitutes or when considering any possible change of work. We focus on their self perception of the aging process from their particular position within social structure.Downloads
