The professional careers of young women: an obstacle course
Abstract
This study explores the lives and professional careers of a group of women and men. The results show that the continuity of the traditional roles and “naturalization” of the capacities attributed to the sexes represent an objective limitation to the professional development of young women and the incorporation of men into the task of sustainability. The perpetuation of roles not only hinders the professional development of young women, but also has serious consequences for their health.Downloads
