Diagnostic utility of ADHD Questionnaire and the Attention Profile in the prediction of children with ADHD, learning disorders and controls
Abstract
The convergence between clinical diagnostic and parent and teacher ratings was analyzed in a sample of 126 children: 42 with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) combined type, 21 with Learning Disorders (LD) and 63 controls, aged between 4 and 12 years-old. Children with ADHD showed more symptoms and behaviors related to the ADHD, followed to the LD and the control groups. Discriminant analyses showed that teacher and parents ratings had diagnostic utility for classified the ADHD and control and was less adequate for LD group.Downloads
