Abstract

This paper describes un Expert System to evaluate ergonomic and psychosocial aspects of workplaces. The project creates software for prevention technical staff that can generate a reliable evaluation with the minimum volume of data possible, and give simple recommendations for improvement or apply a specific method for a more detailed study. The system has been implemented on Pocket-PC (PDA) hardware in order tofacilitate
its use by prevention technical personnel in the WP, and has the necessary PC connectivity functions to generate evaluation reports.
