Abstract

Increasingly, people from different socioeconomic levels use their leisure time to participate in free time programs promoted by local and regional authorities. It is also true that, in  general, these programs lack the assessment methodology needed to provide feedback and proposals for self-evaluation We present a questionnaire, the EPOL (Assessment of Programs of Leisure and Free Time) that evaluate the quality offree time programs. An appropriate index for estimating the quality of un intervention program (in this case a free time program) is to measure the satisfaction of the users. Our instrument consists offive scales with a total of 58 items.
The answers are given on a 5-point continuum. The questionnaire concludes with eleven questions on  sociodemographic aspects. The results presented here refer to the reliability of the scale (internal consistency) and its factor structure through exploratory and confirmatory analysis.
