Dissonance cognitive et étude de la transformation d'une représentation sociale (le cas de la politique)
Keywords:
transformation of social representation, peripheral elements, central system, politics, cognitive dissonanceAbstract
We aim to show that certain behavioral variables may modify a social representation (in this case, of politics). The elements of the representation (connected versus non-connected, and the number one versus number three) were manipulated in a counter-attitudinal message (cognitive dissonance). The representation was only substantially modified in the case of three non-connected, peripheral elements.Downloads
