Abstract

The palliative care attend patients with advanced diseases, without possibilities of oncological treatments and very short life expectancy. The patient's perception is determined by multiple and complex symptoms, expressed in all human dimensions (physical, psychological, social), and by the explicit or implicit menace of a near death. The aims planned by un interdisciplinary team are the symptom control, the psychological support and the social advising.
