Una propuesta de entrevista semi-estructurada para la evaluación de futuros padres adoptivos:aplicación y estudio mediante el análisis textual

Abstract

This study proposes a model for semi-structured intewiews based on seven open questions that aim to evaluate the suitability of couples who apply to be adoptive parents. The proposal arises from the need to assess this dimension in a broad, flexible manner. The protocol and the 16PF test were administered to a sample of 53 couples considered ideal adoptive parents; subjects responded individually. Their answers were analyzed by means of content analysis, and the possible associations with some of the factors on the 16PF were examined by means of correspondence analysis (both statistical treatments were performed using the SPAD-T prograrn). The results validated the use of open questions in this type of assessrnent and the collection of a series of typical responses for ideal subjects, and finally drew attention to the difficulty of obtaining clear associations between the open responses given and scores on the 16PF test.
