Estructura de la personalidad y temperamento
Abstract
In this review, the role of temperament in the construction of (normal
and clinical) personality theories is considered. The nature of temperament
is contrasted with the nature of personality on the basis of the following
assumptions: Character and personality are synonymous in
present-day psychology of personality. Both temperament andpersonality
are phenotypic expressions. The difference between temperament andpersonality
is only methodological and it is related to the trait-vs-state controversy.
