Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The texts must be unpublished.
  • The texts will be sent in Open Office or Microsoft Word format.
  • Web addresses will be added for references where possible.

  • Text presentation rules: single spacing; 12 point font size; use of italics instead of underlining (except URL addresses); the ilustrations, figures and tables must be within the...

  • The text must meet all the bibliographic and style requeriments indicated in the section href="/index.php/IHE/about/submissions#authorGuidelines">Normas para autoras/es.

Author Guidelines

Rules for the submission of manuscripts 

In the writing of the texts, the authors must follow the Criteria of the University of Barcelona (https://www.ub.edu/cub/criteris.php), which have a similarity with Chicago Manual Style.

Papers should be submitted through the UB's journal manuscript management system (https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/IHE/user/register). Authors must register in order to be able to submit papers and must fill in all the information requested.

The journal warns authors that their manuscripts may be subject to plagiarism assessment processes through the Similarity Check system.

 

Submission preparation checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all of the elements below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to authors:

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor it has been submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF format

The copyright policy begins to be applied in number 135 corresponding to the year 2022.

1.The authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

a.The authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication of the work.

b.The texts will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution no Derivatives 4.0 International License (CC-BY-ND 4.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/ 

2.Authors are free to establish additional independent contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the journal (such as publication in an institutional or thematic repository, their personal website or a book), provided have your initial publication in this journal recognized.

3.-Self-archiving of published versions is allowed.
