Abstract

This article analyzes unplublished material, conserved in the funds of the Sagunto Archaeology Museum, which provides new information on the decoration and architectural orders that make up frons scaenae of the Roman theater of Sagunto. Four architectural elements of the frons scaenae are studied: bases, shaft drums, capitals and cornices.

Author Biography

Maria Aidé GÓMEZ ROBLEDO

Graduated in History from the University of Oviedo (2010-2014), she completed the Master in Archeology and Heritage from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2014-2016). Currently, he studies at the doctoral program «Society and Culture: History, Anthropology, Arts, Heritage and Cultural Management" from the University of Barcelona (UB). In addition, he has an FPI scholarship in the CEIPAC research group of the UB. He has participated in different national conferences and has published national and international publications. Additionally, he has been a laboratory assistant at the Oviedo University.
