Preservation policy

Digital preservation

The content of the journal is replicated in the portal Revistas Científicas de la Universidad de Barcelona (RCUB) with the support of the Centre de Recursos per a l'Aprenentatge i la Investigació (CRAI), which provides:

• Maintenance of the server and updating of the open source OJS software.
• Training in the use of OJS software
• Advice on copyright and intellectual property management.
• Guidance for positioning journals in national and international indexes and for improving their quality and visibility.
• Introduction of RCUB journal summaries in RACO and Dialnet. When a journal joins RCUB, CRAI takes the necessary steps to include the summaries in both repositories (RACO and Dialnet) in order to keep them updated.

Interoperability protocols

Astrolabio provides an OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interface that allows interoperability between different platforms and repositories through the exchange of metadata. This feature can be checked with the following request: https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/index/oai?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&set=astrolabio
