Ultrashuctural identification of Weibel-Palade bodies in human gingival blood vessels

Résumé

Les corps de Weibel-Palade (W-P) sont des inclusions intracytoplasmiques dans des cellules endothéliales. 11 a éte démontré qu'ils contiennent le facteur von Willebrand (antigcne relatif a tVIII), I'endothéline-1 et l'histamine. La synthcse décrue ou les défauts du facteur Willebrand ont pour conséquence les troubles sanguins héréditaires les plus communs, la maladie de Willebrand, qui ressemble cliniquement aussi bien i1 l'hémophilie (si le facteur VIII a diminué dans le plasma-typc I vWd) qu'a une altération des plaquettes (seulement si les multimers ont diminué-type II vWd). Nous exposons ici la preuve, observée au microscope électronique, de la présence de corps de W-P dans les vaisseaux sanguins de la gencive humaine et suggérons d'effcctuer une biopsie gingivale pour l'étude de base et l'étude clinique.
