La electroglotografía en el estudio de la estructura sonora de las lenguas
Keywords:

The analysis of the language voicing structure is one of the most important domains in phonetics as, in the speech production, the supraglottal and glottal articulations are coordinated with each other. In this study, we explain briefly what this coordination consist of and the results its analysis has so far led to in establishing the contrast of voicing in various languages. We describe the methods which are being employed in this analysis and, in particular, the technique of electroglotography, which has been used to study the simple intervocalic consonantal groups initiated by fricatives in Polish. We present the results obtained with this technique.
