Interrogatives absolutes al barceloní i al tarragoní (estudi contrastiu)
Abstract
In the framework of the international project AMPER, which aims at creating a multimedia prosody atlas of the romance space, this article tries to reflect the behaviour of the two kinds of absolute interrogative sentences that take place in barceloní and tarragoní, two subdialects of Eastern Catalan. The results show that, although the general melodic line is quite common, there are differences between both subdialects, especially in the interrogatives headed by the que particle and ending with the subject (cleft). The data do not indicate relevant differences in the study of duration and intensity of the vowels in the sentences studied.
