El sistema de magnetometría EMA aplicado al estudio de la producción del habla
Abstract
This paper describes the operation of the electromagnetic midsagittal articulometry (EMA) system Articulograph AG100 from Carstens Medizinelektronik. It also gives details about the system calibration procedure and about several aspects which need to be taken care of during a recording session (e.g., coils and helmet placement, palate surface tracking) and for EMA data analysis (head movement correction, data normalization). The paper illustrates the extraction method of articulatory displacement and velocity, and shows how articulatory movement data can be applied to the study of coarticulation and may be implemented with electropalatographic and acoustic data.
