Abstract

Some of the most persistent criticisms of culture and its legitimised injustices are the theories and practises developed within feminist thought.  This text will draw attention to some particularly relevant authors who are present in current feminst discourse.  The text will focus primarily on feminist calls for a radical transformation of the system and culture as the only mode of constructing a more just society.  For the authors mentioned this proposition begins with a complete transfor-mation of their own lives.
