Este artigo apresenta umha série de consideraçons, fundamentadas na teoria da cultura polissistémica de Itamar Even-Zohar, sobre a delimitaçom do objecto de estudo da História literária. O meu propósito é analisar de um jeito orgânico os quatro reptos metodológicos do funcionalismo dinâmico e o modelo sistémico na sua aplicaçom à história diacrónica. Estes retos som: 1) entender as interacçons polissistémicas, extra-sistémicas e subsistémicas, assim como também as fronteiras entre culturas sistémicas como alternativa à metodologia comparatista tradicional; 2) incorporar como objecto de estudo nom só produtos/textos senom também o que a teoria dos campos sociais de Pierre Bourdieu descreve como “espace des possibles”; 3) examinar um modelo de seqüenciaçom capaz de elucidar os policronismos dinâmicos e os cambios sistémicos; e 4) conformar umha selecçom crítica de datos que sejam susceptíveis de historizaçom e ajustar um diálogo com outros modelos historiográficos concorrentes.Downloads
