Abstract

This article analyzes the difficulties regarding autofictional novels that display interconnection and even fusion between several enunciative levels, as in the case of Lazarillo de Tormes and Javier Cercas' La velocidad de la luz. The article then focuses on the limits of traditional explanatory patterns that analyze characters, narrators, and authors as discrete entities, proposing the use of research tools close to fuzzy logic to offer a better understanding of these literary phenomena.
