Abstract

En el presente artículo propongo un análisis del video ensayo La memoria interior (2002) de María Ruido, centrándome en la figuración del viaje y de los lugares de la memoria desde la perspectiva de los descendientes de los emigrantes de los años del desarrollismo en el Estado español. Para ello, atiendo a algunas teorías sobre el cine de carretera, a estudios recientes sobre cine migrante y diaspórico, así como a las aportaciones sobre el viaje y la movilidad en las ciencias sociales y las humanidades. También examino las estrategias audiovisuales  que emplea Ruido para contraponer los lugares de memoria a los espacios monumentales y a los espacios abstractos de la ciudad global.
