Abstract

All writers are looking for something, even though they may not always know what that something is. From their works, we expect and keep some discoveries, but mainly we value their perseverance in the exercise of naming and renaming the world, which is a prerogative of our freedom. Literature shakes language, or makes it stutter, exposing its structures to the risk of suspension —and perhaps, also, to the chance of a new beginning—. This paper aims to explore some singularities of poetic language as creative expression, establishing a dialogue with the works of Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze.
