Abstract

This article presents some preliminary reflections on the link between Rodolfo Walsh’s writing and the archive. Specifically, we are interested in analyzing how the figure of the writer who develops his practice between archives—documents of various textual typologies and origins—is built, vital not only as literary and journalistic scaffolding but also as decisive evidence in the search for truth(s) and justice. For that, we will interrogate the uses and particularities of the documentary pieces presented in Caso Satanowsky (1958) and the different resources and skills that Walsh uses narratively as a result of the manipulation of that archive.
