La independencia de México y las misiones de las Californias: españoles versus mexicanos, 1821-1833
Abstract
The secularization of the missions of the California, governed by dominicos and franciscanos monks, all of them of Spanish origin, it was reason for preoccupation of the different governments from the first Mexican Republic. In spite of the belief generalized that they were the liberal laws those that made disappear the missions, it is demonstrated in this work that was the rejection of the Mexican monks fill vacancies left by its Spaniards brothers the main cause of which finally the missions of the California disappeared.Downloads
