Abstract
The economic history of North Patagonia lived radical changes in the period 1902-1932. Bariloche, a small frontier town in the Andes Cordillera, developed into an international tourist centre. This paper proposes an explanation of the economic transformations of this social space, around de business behaviour of Primo Capraro, an Italian immigrant who emerged as the most important business man of the region.Downloads
