Abstract
this paper analyses the role played by rural traders in managing their commercial houses in the south of Buenos Aires, during the fi rst decades of the twentieth century. Based on the theoretical and historical production linked to the concepts of enterprise and entrepreneur, raised some theoretical, methodological approach to understanding the use of these concepts in the case studied. It will analyse the relationship trader - client, the role of credit in shaping the portfolio, and ties extra-trading to linked these entrepreneurs with their surroundings.Downloads
