Politización y relaciones sociales en Mendoza (Argentina) durante la década revolucionaria (1810-1820). Conflictos y consensos en la configuración de un nuevo orden
Abstract
The paper deals with the impact of the institutional changes of the revolution on the social relations of the government in the argentine region of Cuyo in 1.810. The analysis is focused on the way in which the authority of the new politicians was interpreted and how the increasing control of the public life and the economical and military demands were tolerated by the people. In this way, we explain our consideration towards the population: how its bonds were gradually politicized as the public commitment grew within this political process; and how this reality was really far from the passive image idealized by the traditional historiography.Downloads
