Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the amounts allocated by the provincial government of Tucumán, Argentina, Worship item within the budget of the prov- ince between 1852 and 1897 During this period were constant contributions from the government to contribute to the costs incurred in the exercise of Catho- lic worship in the province The work aims to frame these contributions within the studies on the reconstruction of the Catholic Church and the building of the state administrative machinery in the province during the second half of the nineteenth century
