Registration adn communication system of instituional violence (SIRECOVI)

Abstract

This article prepared by the Research Centre of the University of Barcelona, ​​Observatory of the Penal System and Human Rights, it aims to present the design and operation of a tool that can assist and denouncing in cases of institutional violence. From the interests of protection for victims who may be subject to this type of violence The Observatory has created and developed a system of recording and reporting of these situations in order to efficient and fast response that can be offered to these victims. So, without trying in no event a procedural tool, it is intended that all institutions, organizations or actors that relate in triggering events, in defending the rights of victims or the protection and promotion of fundamental rights of individuals, both at the regional, national and / or international level, they may be aware of the situation, with the express consent of the affected,, and, therefore, to take the necessary measures to be the case and its competence.
