Abstract

The Laboratory of Development of Social Technologies bes situated in the region of study, Dark Bush, Salvador, Bahia. It develops technological projects of recovery of degraded areas urban, using a participative methodology, stimulating the integration of the diverse local social actors, through the formation of partnerships with the universities and companies. The Laboratory is structuralized in three lines of research: 1) partner-ambient infrastructure, 2) education and territory, 3) urban planning. The Laboratory of social technologies is articulated through the establishment of a composed net for two universities (UNEB, Unifacs), governmental and not-governmental organizations and companies aiming at the partner-ambient development of the region. The team of the laboratory is formed by doctors of the universities, mestrtes, students of after-graduation and graduation of the diverse areas (architecture, urbanism, sociologists, geographers, economists, engineers, lawyers). The communitarian participation is stimulated through the one creation fórum of quarrel approaching the main thematic areas, mainly on problematic the partner-ambient one of the region, searching to point solutions with respect to the local problems through the construction of an Agenda 21 for the viability of the local sustentabilidade.
