General conditions of production: a concept to be recuperate to understanding the inequalities of regional development

Abstract

This text has as objective to disclose how much it can be instrumental the concept of general conditions of production in the social space analysis. From the reference in the territorial agglomeration of the industry of high technology, that in Brazil it is concentrates in the region metropolitan of São Paulo and its area of wide deconcentration. The text discusses the importance of this concept and the necessity to regain it in the geographic analyses. It argues that the industries of high technology need certain general conditions of production that are selectively developed in the space producing a new type of regional inequality in Brazil or either in other industrialized countries of Latin America.
