The favela and the utopy for city´s right in Rio De Janeiro

Abstract

The city planning in the capitalism, in general, head to an extreme perverse and paradoxical way to desconstruct a specific city where was still possible tolive in community in different spaces without been segregated and stagnated from its social contents. The slum is a vivid example of this process. It´s imperative that the utopy for city´s right, particularly in Rio de Janeiro, overcomes the dichotomic view favela-city. This effort deals with citizenship possibilities for favela´s habitants. The utopy for city´s right must take to the favela its own city´s utopy. In order that the favela has the desire to stimulate its own search for city´s right, we assume that the favela must think itself as part of the city´s history and its change to a metropolis.
