Abstract

The divorce between educational research at university and innovation in basic and compulsory education has become an obstacle to improving people’s learning. The curriculum projects are a way of overcoming this problem. In the case of school geography, we show empirical examples of how innovation can complement research projects. For this aim we have used a proposed study of the urban environment.
