Abstract

It is visible the rising of violence and insecurity feeling in the society nowadays. Although this process is often associated with metropolitan areas and large cities, we demonstrate how this tendency is changing. Increasing violence and the insecurity feeling in small towns. The text brings this reality to the academic agenda, presents some explanations about forms of control that has been adopted: the youth curfew.
