Abstract

A comparative analysis between four significant towns is taking place to understand the upset that goes with the change of productive models, the processes of adjustment, reindustrialization or the development of sercives´sector and the correlative urban transformation. Explains the similarities and differences in the demographic, functional, morphological and environmental changes, to understand how local and regional conditions cause the same policy produces different results, although none of these cities has succeeded in preventing housing activity is more important than the productive economy.
