Abstract

This article aims to study and characterize the residential patterns of foreigners in the major Spanish cities. The micro-scale and comparative analysis reveals overall, low residential segregation indexes and worse housing conditions than the Spanish. However, we can appreciate important disparities in relation to the city, the length of immigration flow and the nationality. For this reason, we think that any attempt of generalization should take into account these aspects.
