Abstract

Technological innovation ever was factor of territorial differentation, since the agricolal revolution of the Neolityc Period (as it is confermed by the case of oriental Asia). The industrial revolution accentuated these way of localisation, to begin with urban concentration of settlements; afterwards with there decentrement, but always connetted to the centers of modernisation. As a last, but not secondary effect, diffusion of modern, technological innovations has often caused important social changes: particularly a new demand of democracy and participation to the govern of the public administration.
