Innovation networks in the tecnopoles context: the experience of São Carlos, Brasil

The proposal of this work was to analyze the arrangements called technopoleand their information and co-operation nets, under the light of a new global and informational logic, that pervades the social and economical relationships in the contemporaries societies. There was a search into which impact and challenge are placed in such territorial basis and that are based on local nets, in this new context, where the increase of electronic nets is a rule, used more and more for information interchange, research development and the knowledge dissemination. For the attainment of such goals a study was done about São Carlos experience where 5 technological companies there installed were investigated.
