Abstract

The principal innovations that would be carried out in Chile in the 1950's regarding housing policies, they would be in connection with reformation process that would undergo the chilean public administration in those years. This process would be based in public resources rationalization. These transformations would involved the creation of new ways that they would organize housing policies, that would be concentrated in the Ministry of Public Works. This would be the State post should draw up the National Housing Plan, through an agency that would be created specially for it, the Housing Corporation.
